David Kolsrud – President/CEO

David has 13 years of proven experience in the renewable energy industry. He has helped to develop, organize and fund projects exceeding $1 billion. David’s expertise is used primarily in the areas of ethanol, biodiesel and wind projects. In 2006 David formed DAK Renewable Energy Inc. which focuses on renewable energy project development and the consulting and managment of 11 LLC’s, with investments in multiple renewable energy projects. David has been the Cooperative Manager at Agri-Energy LLC in Luverne, Minnesota since 1995 and represents several owners on multiple companies’ board of directors. David, along with his wife Char, also maintain a farming operation which was started in 1973. David and Char have two grown children, Jill and Chris.

Dan Heard – President/CFO

Dan has been engaged in public accounting for 22 years and active in the renewable energy industry for 12 years. Dan has experience in assisting projects from the start up through the monthly and annual reporting, once a project is under production. Dan also has experience with merger/acquisition transactions and the financial and tax issues related to these transactions. Dan brings a much needed expertise to DAK.

Matt Willard – Consultant

Matt has 25 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, new product development, marketing, sales and business. He has also worked with a number of technology companies including satellite and wireless communications, remote sensing products and services, and GPS-based asset management applications. Over the last 5 years, Matt has also been involved with the agricultural marketplace and brings in a fresh new perspective to our industry. He is recognized for his successful sales and marketing efforts, new product development efforts and development and implementation of new business models. Matt also plays a large part in facilitating mergers and acquisitions and establishing and maintaining international business to business relationships.

Andrea Parliament – Accounting Assistant

Andrea joined the team in January 2008 and is responsible for accounting, administrative, and office support. You will find her answering the phone, preparing correspondence and keeping track of the team. Andrea has over ten years of customer service and accounting experience.
